Part 1: Verbal Warning Script “It has been brought to my attention that you have displayed unacceptable, threatening behavior towards other employees as well as patients and their families. This behavior will not be tolerated again in our workplace. Do you understand why this is a problem that affects our work environment?” Part 2: Second Verbal Warning & Employee Improvement Plan Second Verbal Warning: “On November 25, 2014 we met regarding your unprofessional behavior. I addressed how disruptive behavior such as threatening gestures, comments, and acts will not be tolerated. You have completely disregarded your co-workers’ and my concerns, which is why a performance improvement plan must be put into place immediately. If you fail to abide by this plan your employment will be terminated.”
